Editor Notes
π― Should you use Waalaxy?
Buy if: You run agency outreach at volume and need cheap LinkedIn + email sequences that don't require a developer.
Skip if: You recruit in-house with compliance oversight or need candidate data that actually converts above 60%.
β‘ In practice
- βSetup: 20 minutes to connect LinkedIn + email accounts
- βSequences: Reliable for basic profile visit β connection β InMail chains
- βEmail finder: Hit rate drops hard past mid-level roles
- βLinkedIn limits: Works within daily caps but no safety net
β οΈ Where it breaks
- βEmail verification is inconsistent, you will burn sender reputation if you don't scrub lists first.
- βInterface looks like a growth hacking tool because it is one, not built for recruiter workflows.
- βNo ATS push despite what marketing claims, you export CSV and upload manually.
πΈ Is it worth the money?
Free plan covers 80 invites per month, paid starts around $60 for 800 actions. Cheaper than Gem or hireEZ but you get what you pay for in data quality.
π If not this
- βPhantombuster -> More control over scraping logic but requires scripting comfort
- βContactOut -> Better email accuracy for senior hires, no LinkedIn automation
- βLoxo -> Full recruiting suite if you need ATS + sourcing in one place
π― Final verdict
Cheap volume play for agency sourcers who can handle data cleanup, skip if you need compliance controls or accurate contact data.
Waalaxy is a cleaner, more modern take on LinkedIn automation compared to older tools like Dux-Soup. The interface is nicer, the sequences are easier to set up, and it feels less likely to get you in trouble, though let's be honest, it's still a grey zone. LinkedIn doesn't officially allow any of this. I've used it for outreach sequences combining LinkedIn messages with email follow-ups, and the multichannel approach does get better response rates. The templates and A/B testing features are genuinely useful. But my advice remains the same: keep volumes low, personalize everything, and don't treat it like a spam cannon. Used carefully, Waalaxy is one of the better options in this space.
